In-person & hybrid events
At the heart of live events
At the heart of any event is the need to bring people together, to form connections, to build community. Whether the focus is to inform and educate, to share experiences, or simply to entertain, the principles are the same. Bringing people together, both virtually and physically, for the sake of human interaction. A successful hybrid event should therefore accommodate the needs of both audiences and be designed to be as interactive as possible for both.
7 Stream Media has the expertise to advise you. Whether you are looking for support for your in-person event with AV, staging and filming, or you want to know how to design your event for an online or hybrid audience.
“Thank you both so much for all your help and support with the event. You both were your usual professional selves and I was delighted with how you ran the meeting. Bringing in 5 speakers remotely, live chair in the room and streaming out to Swansea and Cardiff was a big ask, but taken on with ease! Not forgetting the people also joining from work or home too!”

Scale to meet your needs
Lectures: A speaker or speakers deliver a talk to the audience in the room, and a virtual audience via cameras in the room. Full Q&A access can be offered to both audiences.
Meeting: A discussion-focused event, perhaps with a guest speaker. Two-way video for the remote attendees and cameras to pick up contributions from the physical attendees will mean an immersive experience for all.
Conference: A large meeting, perhaps including keynotes, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities. Breakouts and networking can be set up to engage, and even combine, both online and in-person attendees.
Congress/Exhibition: A multi-day, multi-channel, hybrid event. Including:
- multiple concurrent keynotes and breakouts,
- roaming presenter reporting from the exhibition hall,
- highlights video,
- keynote and session vlogs – short summary videos useful for attendees to catch up on missed sessions,
- networking booths
“Host” Studio: A great addition for online attendees at a large event is a dedicated pop-up studio, streaming content throughout the event. This is similar to the continuity provided by a studio during major national events, your hosts welcome the audience and talk about what’s coming up during the event. You can even have guests coming in for interviews and show highlights of certain elements of the event, before going live to keynote presentations.
